The present invention relates to a girder member used in a bridge and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a box type girder member applied with pre-moment in the longitudinal and transverse directions and a manufacturing method thereof capable of efficiently responding to load applied when a bridge is used by applying pre-moment in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the girder. The box type girder member includes: a first section steel which includes upper and lower flanges and a web, and has a camber in the longitudinal direction; a second section steel which is located on one side of the width of the first section steel apart from the first section steel and includes upper and lower flanges and a web; a first connection plate connecting the upper flanges of the first and second section steels; and a second connection plate connecting the lower flanges of the first and second connection steels, wherein the first and second connection plates are formed by being attached to the first and second section steels in a state where load is applied to the first section steel so as to make the first section steel straight and then removing the load from the first section steel. |
