<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for performing the certain inspection of the quality of printed matter by suppressing the fluttering of feed paper in order to inspect the quality of the printed matter on a printing machine to input an accurate image. <P>SOLUTION: This inspection device for inspecting the quality of the printed matter includes an inspection unit for inspecting the quality of fed printing paper. The inspection unit includes an air jet part for blowing air against the printing paper during feed in order to suppress the fluttering of the printed matter during feed, a paper close contact part which is installed at the position holding the printed matter along with the air jet part and formed of a transparent member, an image inputting part for taking the image of the printed matter brought into close contact with the paper close contact part and a determining part for determining whether there is abnormality in the printed matter by comparing the image data taken by the image inputting part with preset reference data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
