<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search mediation system with which a person trying to access information can collect the information simultaneously from a database holding the records regarding a related object and which provides the location information of the object to a person requiring to find imitation or a recalled object. <P>SOLUTION: The search mediation system includes a table 170 which records a surveillance key in response to a surveillance request demand from a surveillance requesting person. The system includes a surveillance report creating means and a surveillance report providing means. When a search requesting means 24 performs a search request to each database and receives the search results from each database, the surveillance report creating means 19 refers to the surveillance key table 170 and creates a surveillance report.
