<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of stably holding a support plate for receiving an airbag of an inflation completion state at a projecting position with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device 40 includes the airbag 46 and the support plate 77. The support plate 77 is stored at a storing position shown by a two-point dot line before deploying and inflating the airbag 46, and is displaced toward the projecting position shown by a solid line set in the vicinity on a shock portion side of the airbag 46 by interlocking with the deployment and inflation of the airbag 46 while the airbag 46 is deployed and inflated. The support plate 77 receives the airbag 46 of an inflated state pressed by an occupant displaced to the shock portion side according to shock on the vehicle. A recessed portion 90 into which the support plate 77 displaced to the projecting position enters when the airbag 46 becomes the inflated state is provided at the portion on the shock portion side of the airbag 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
