Bumpers (or super-bumpers) made of curved (elbowed) section (profile) in such a fashion that its end portions can be introduced along and outside the longitudinal members of a specific car in order to be fixed thereon, each terminal portion 1, 2 of which bumpers is composed of the end of the section (profile) which comprises a support-guide 5, 6 which can slide on the longitudinal flange of the corresponding longitudinal member 11, 13, and the two end portions 1 and 2 of which bumpers are equipped with a means capable of substantially bringing them together and holding them firmly pressed against the fixed longitudinal members 11, 13 in order to ensure they are locked in the correct position.
