<p>The device has input units (9, 16) for inputting an intersection point of latitude and longitude of a coordinate-grid network of earth, and input units (23, 27) for inputting an operating mode and a switching profile, respectively. The input units are designed as rotary potentiometers or rotary switches. An internal time counter and a date counter are provided in a memory of a control processor, and are incremented by a clock pulse that is derived from a quartz oscillator. The processor periodically determines direct ambient temperature of the oscillator. An independent claim is also included for a method for switching an electronic load i.e. lamp.</p> |
