<p>The device has a control module i.e. microprocessor, to generate predetermined control signals at variable periods. The signals control, for each period, closure of a switch on a fixed duration (TON) calculated in a manner to enable current (IL) in an inductor of a voltage boosting unit to increase from a zero value to a predefined limit value (ILpeak). The signals control opening of the switch on a variable duration (TOFF) and function of voltage to terminals of a capacitor in a manner to allow the current in the inductor to decrease from the predefined limit value to the zero value.</p> |
