<p>A radio communication system, including a radio base station; and a terminal, wherein the radio communication system performs radio communication between the radio base station and the terminal; the radio base station including: an advertisement message generation unit which generates an advertisement message including both channel information of a first radio base station having a cell range directly adjacent to a cell range, which is an arrival range of radio waves of the radio base station, and channel information of a second radio base station having a cell range adjacent to the cell range of the radio base station with a non-arrival area of radio waves intervening therebetween; a handover request message generation unit which generates a handover request message including a handover instruction to the second radio base station; and a transmission unit which transmits the advertisement message and the handover request message to the terminal, and the terminal including: a receive unit which receives the advertisement message and the handover request message; and a terminal side handover processing unit which detects whether a handover to the second radio base station as instructed by the handover request message is possible, and performs handover to the second radio base station, using the channel information of the second radio base station included in the advertisement message, if the handover can be possible.</p> |
