The present invention relates to a device and a method for checking an index of an item before buy order of the item in financial product trading such as online stocks and derivatives, etc. so that attractiveness can be quantitatively calculated. The method comprises the steps of (Q10) writing an analysis index for analyzing an item; (Q20) setting importance of the index by an investor; (Q30) checking a checklist score before buy order by the investor; (Q40) calculating the checklist score (attractiveness) by an HTS; and (Q50) displaying the checklist score (attractiveness) outputted by the HTS. According to the present invention, the investor can quantitatively identify the score (attractiveness) according to the evaluation of the checklist while checking all indexes of the corresponding item before buy order to exclude the problematic item and to buy the item having high scores, thereby excluding the item having high risks in loss, selecting the item having high investment attractiveness and consequently reducing investment loss in stocks.
