The device has a tool designed as a plow for guiding in a soil material. The plow is provided a mold board (2) or mold board strip (2.1) for guiding a plow body with the soil material. The mold board or mold board strip is fastened to a supporting body (5) by an adhesive layer and a connecting element. Positioning elements are congruently provided to each other at the connecting element and the mold board strip, and designed as molding parts and/or recess parts. The individual positioning elements form adhesive surfaces between the connecting element and the strip.
