PURPOSE: A worker position tracking and motion sensing system, and a method thereof are provided to allow an after-conductor to check information on the motion and position of a worker through a display device. CONSTITUTION: A motion capture sensor (100) senses information on the motion of physical body joints of a worker and is installed on the body or a garment of the worker. A communication relay (200) is consecutively thrown and installed in a moving route of the worker or mounted on the wall or floor in the moving route in order to transmit the motion information of the worker which has been sensed by the motion capture sensor. A monitoring device (300) receives the motion information of the worker transmitted from the communication relay in order to calculate the current position of the worker and monitor the worker. A display device allows an after-conductor to check the motion and current position information of the worker which has been monitored by the monitoring device.
