A planar secondary cover provides an impervious shield or barrier to insects, maggots, flies larvae or the like. Said cover is located by and seals against the internal walls of waste container and is situated below but is separate from a primary cover of the waste container. A rubber or foam seal A1 surrounds the periphery of the secondary cover to grip the internal walls of a rubbish or trash container. A handle A2 may be provided to hold the cover by. A hinged flap A3 may be fitted to allow objects to be placed into the waste container. Said flap clips shut when required to maintain the barrier. |
