PURPOSE:To improve the tooth profile accuracy, and to reduce the manufacturing cost by executing the working such as drawing, necking, etc., to a disk of a specified thickness, forming a thick wall part on the outside periphery, and subsequently, forming a tooth part by a gear rolling device. CONSTITUTION:In a blanking process, a disk is punched from a steel plate whose thickness is 2.0-3.0mm, and in the first drawing process, a cup-shaped forming is executed to the outside periphery of the disk. Subsequently, in the first necking process, a side wall part is bent to the inside, and also is brought to con tact with a tapered part. In the second drawing process, a cup shape having a double thickness is formed in the side wall part, and thereafter, the side wall part is bent to the inside, and is brought to contact therewith, and a drive plate 12 having a thick wall part 12a on the outside periphery is formed. Next, a tooth profile is formed on the outside periphery of the plate 12 by a rolling device having a rolling die 15a. In this way, the tooth profile can be formed exactly, and also the manufacturing cost can be reduced. |
