<p>The present invention relates to a refrigerator which is equipped with an ice making device. The refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an ice bank for storing ice; an ice maker for dropping ice to the ice bank by generating the ice in an ice tray by using inflow cold air; a cover for separating the ice bank and the ice maker from a cooling compartment or a freezing compartment; and an ice shutter so that the cool air which flows into the ice maker through a first opening formed in the cover prevents the inflow of the ice bank. The ice shutter can be opened by being rotated by transferred ice only when the ice which is generated in the ice maker is transferred to the ice bank. Therefore, the present invention is able to reduce a phenomenon of attached and clotted ice in an ice storage container and improve the ice generating ability of the ice making device.</p> |
