PURPOSE:To permit forcing attachment of a seat belt when a person rides in a car by allowing, in operative association with closing of a door, a hook of a steel plate mounted on the floor or a seat side to be automatically inserted into a hole in a guide plate of the seat belt. CONSTITUTION:A fixed plate 1 is secured to the lower inside of a door 11 horizontally or in an upwardly inclined manner to the front portion, and a slide plate 2 is incorporated therein. The slide plate 2 is connected at one end to a guide plate 4 by a T-piece or the like and coupled at the other end to the fixed plate 1 by a spring. The guide plate has at an end a hole 7 and has a belt 8 attached just before the hole 7. The belt 7 is attached at the other end to a portion 9 of the interior of the car such as the floor, ceiling or wall. They may be interconnected through a detachable fitting. Magnet 10 is mounted to either or both portions of the fixed plate 1 and the guide plate 4 overlapping each other. When the door 11 is closed, a hook 12 of a steel plate mounted to the lower floor or the seat side is to be inserted into the hole 7 of the guide plate 4. Thus constructed, attachment of the seat belt on riding in the car is forcingly achieved irrespective of the intention of the person. |
