DRIVE BUTTON FOR LOCKS PRACTICABLE FOR SLIDING DOOR AND WINDOW SASHES

There is disclosed a lock’s drive button 1 applicable to locks of aluminium or plastic sliding door and window sashes, which button is installed in the recess (lock cavity) 10 of the sliding sash and is composed of the little plate having the planar surface 5 and the pin 4 passing through the interior of the sliding leaf profile for being connected to the carrier 12 of the closure means set therein in such a way that this last can oscillate between locked and unlocked position following the respective oscillation of the button 1 bearing a lever-handle 2 turning around the pin 6 located on the opposite side walls (5a,5b) of the elevated flange of the small-sized plate 5; holding the lever-handle 2 projecting from the recess 10, the user is in position to incite, in an advantageous ergonomic manner, the oscillatory function of the button which is liable to secure or unsecure the closure means of the sliding leaf.
