<p>PURPOSE:To improve an operator interface by detecting the output of a fixed amount of data that is previously defined when the data is developed to a video RAM to set a fixed WAIT state and allocating the CPU resources to other jobs. CONSTITUTION:A user buffer 11 and a system buffer 12 are secured in a user data area and in a system area respectively. Then the data of the buffer 11 are transferred to the buffer 12 when an output request is issued to a CRT. When a fixed amount of data, e.g., the control code of a line feed, etc., is supplied, a fixed WAIT time is set for development/output of data to a video RAM 13 from the buffer 12. In this period, the CPU resources are used by another job, etc. An operator outputs an escape sequence in the WAIT time to attain the change. Thus the CRT output speed can be easily changed.</p> |
