A flexible display apparatus is disclosed. The present apparatus comprises a display unit; a sensing unit for sensing the deformation of a shape in the display unit; a storage unit for storing information for the operating condition of the flexible display apparatus when the deformation is sensed; and a control unit for executing a function corresponding to the deformation when the deformation condition is maintained during the predetermined time and for returning the operating condition to an original operating condition using information stored in the storage unit by terminating a function when the deformation condition is released.
