The present invention relates to an automatic thread cutting device of an overlock stitch sewing machine. A suction tube is arranged on one side of cutlery working parties of a thread cutting unit, and connected to a pneumatic pressure control device. The thread cutting unit is operated by a separate power source in order to perform the cutting action. As the structure of driving components is simple, the failure rate is reduced and the noise occurrence is reduced. A blower tube is arranged on the other side of the cutlery working parties of the thread cutting unit, and connected to the pneumatic pressure control device. A suction force and a blowing force are generated in the cutlery working parties by the pneumatic pressure control device, the suction tube and the blowing tube so that a thread of the sewing machine is sent to the inside of the cutlery working parties and cut. |
