The present invention relates to a biodegradable film using chicken feather protein extracted from chicken feathers produced after butchering chickens, and a method for manufacturing the same. More particularly, the biodegradable film including a plasticizer and nanoclay in the chicken feather protein extracted from by-products, which are chicken feathers, produced in the chicken processing industry has excellent tensile strength and water permeability, and therefore, can be effectively used as processed food packing materials as a biodegradable film of which the unit cost of production is reduced.
