PURPOSE:To promote cooling of a piston, by a method wherein a heat transfer fin is situated in the cooling flow passage of a piston body. CONSTITUTION:A cooling flow passage 38, through which cooling fluid is circulated, is formed to the interior of a piston body 14, and a heat transfer fin 43 is situated in the cooling flow passage 38. The heat transfer fin 43 is formed by bending a sheet, e.g., aluminium, etc., and is disposed circumferentially of an annular flow passage part 41 in the cooling flow passage 38. This constitution enables cooling of a piston. |
