PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately superimpose a privacy mask regardless of the time difference between imaging processing and mask superimposition processing timings.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging control unit which controls an exposure state for exposing a subject with an image pickup device; a signal processing unit which generates an image taken by digitalizing an image pickup signal output from the image pickup device; an imaging system moving unit which moves a position of the imaging system including the image pickup device; a calculation unit for calculating a superimposed position of a privacy mask within the image taken from image pickup position information based on a current position of the imaging system; and a mask drawing unit for drawing the privacy mask at the superimposed position in the image taken. |
