PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution device which distributes update data of a program when the device determines that the program is to be probably used.SOLUTION: A distribution device 10 stores status information including usage information indicating usage of an application program and use status of the application program (step S21). Next, the distribution device 10 determines whether or not the distribution device 10 holds update data to be distributed (step S22), and when it is determined that the distribution device 10 holds the update data to be distributed, the distribution device 10 acquires the status information (step S24). Then, the distribution device 10 determines use probability of the application program in the use status indicated by the acquired status information (step S25), and when it is determined that the determined use probability is equal to or more than a predetermined level (step S26:YES), the distribution device 10 distributes the held update data to a user terminal 20 (step S27). |
