PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that achieves cost reduction and maintains positional accuracy of a translation cam comparatively easily.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a body housing 2; an image forming unit having a plurality of photoreceptor drums arranged; and a translation cam 400 which is provided laterally outside the image forming unit, and moves forward and backward to switch at least a part of the image forming unit between a first position and a second position. The body housing 2 is formed of a metal plate and has a metal frame 300 arranged outside the image forming unit on a side where the translation cam 400 is disposed. The metal frame 300 includes a plate-like support part 310 disposed to face the image forming unit and supporting the image forming unit and a cam rail 320 extended from the support part 310 toward the image forming unit to guide displacement of the translation cam 400. The cam rail 320 is formed integrally with the support part 310 by bending the metal plate. |
