PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of an imaging device that performs control by an operation of a rotation operation member of an imaging lens.SOLUTION: An imaging device 2 includes a mount where an imaging lens 4 can be mounted and dismounted, wherein the imaging lens 4 includes a lens barrel and an operation member and can extend and retract the lens barrel by an operation of the operation member to a barrel extended position where imaging is possible and to a barrel retracted position where imaging is impossible. The imaging device includes: a receiving unit 46 receiving lens position information from the imaging lens mounted on the mount; a control unit 40 controlling the imaging device on the basis of the lens position information received through the receiving unit; and a switching unit 40 switching validity or invalidity of the control on the imaging device by the control unit at each operation condition of the imaging device. |
