PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for constructing a high-performance crime prevention system using an information code reader.SOLUTION: A crime prevention system 2 includes an information code reader 10 capable of reading an information code and an installation stand 50 having an installation table 56 where the information code reader 10 can be installed. The installation table 56 includes a camera 60 which can be connected to the information code reader 10 and a lighting device 62 which can light up a photographic range of the camera 60. The information code reader 10 includes an arithmetic unit 20. Once the information code reader 10 is installed on the installation table 56, a connection electrode 14 and a connection electrode 58 are electrically connected to each other. Consequently, the camera 60 is controlled by the arithmetic unit 20 of the information code reader 10. |
