The present invention relates to a POS device which includes a main body with an in/out interface, a memory, and a control unit; and an image recording device with a cache box controlled by a cache box control unit. An image recording device connected to the main body through the in/out interface for recording images is further included in the present invention. The POS device is characterized by storing in the memory a program which includes a first step for initializing the image recording device; a second step for detecting if a control signal for controlling the cache box is generated; and a third step for operating the image recording device according to the signal detected in the second step.
