PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress malfunction against user's intention in an apparatus capable of multi-touch operation.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 100 comprises: a detection unit 121 that detects touch points that are being touched in an object area for touch operation; an inspection unit 123 that inspects information indicating that the information processing apparatus 100 has been moved; a determination unit 122 that performs determination to disable a touch point detected during the movement from among the touch points being detected by the detection means; and a recognition unit 125 that recognizes touch operation on the basis of the touch points except the touch point disabled by the determination unit.
