PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method and a printing apparatus capable of appropriately executing a plurality of types of maintenance during printing of a continuous sheet.SOLUTION: A method for performing printing on a continuous sheet using an inkjet print head includes sequentially printing a plurality of images according to a schedule while performing a plurality of maintenance operations using an area between the images, and setting a schedule so that a first maintenance operation included in the plurality of maintenance operations and a second maintenance operation performed at a different frequency from that of the first maintenance operation are not performed in the same area. |
