PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a reamer having a coating layer, in which there is possibility that it is difficult to sufficiently discharge, to the outside, cutting heat generated during reamer work.SOLUTION: A reamer 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a stick-like main body part 3 having a rotation axis S, provided with an outer peripheral surface 11, an end surface 13 located on one end side, and an inclined surface 15 located between the end surface 13 and the outer peripheral surface 11; a groove part 5 formed from the inclined surface 15 to the outer peripheral surface 11; a cutting blade 17 formed at an intersection line part of an inner surface of the groove part 5 and the inclined surface 15; and a coating layer 25 coating the inclined surface 15, provided over the end surface 13 so that at least a part of the end surface 13 is exposed. |
