PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp in which generation of ineffective mercury is suppressed, and exfoliation of a phosphor layer provided on the inner surface of a glass tube due to collision against a mercury alloy is prevented.SOLUTION: In the fluorescent lamp including a glass tube provided with a phosphor layer on the inner surface, and electrodes provided at both ends of the glass tube, the phosphor layer consists of a first layer phosphor layer on the glass tube side, and a second layer phosphor layer on the discharge space side. The first layer phosphor layer contains a calcium halophosphate phosphor as a main component, the second layer phosphor layer contains a rare earth activation phosphor as a main component, and a zinc-mercury alloy or a zinc-tin-mercury alloy is used as the mercury filling the fluorescent lamp. |
