PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles capable of reducing time from the beginning of a warning until a driver recognizes an actual object.SOLUTION: A display device for vehicles 100 includes a pair of speaker arrays 31L and 31R provided across a display area 20 in the horizontal direction and a pair of light emission sections 27L and 27R provided across the center of the display area 20 in the horizontal direction. When steering information indicating an operation performed in connection with a driver's steering is detected and it is determined that a warning object 80, such as a pedestrian, is detected in an advancing area 81 of an own vehicle 90, the display device for vehicles 100 emits a directional acoustic beam toward a driver seat from one of the speaker array 31L (31R) corresponding to a steering direction, on the basis of the affirmative determination. As a result, a warning voice giving a warning against the warning object 80 is played back. In addition, one light emission section 27L (27R) corresponding to the steering direction emits a light in a warning light emission condition for giving a warning against the warning object 80. |
