PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head and a thermal printer capable of reducing possibilities for a base body and a radiator to fall apart.SOLUTION: A thermal head is provided with: a base body; a heat generating part installed on the base body; a radiator 5 having an opposing surface 5A facing the base body and a side face 5B adjacent to the opposing surface 5A; and a first adhesion member 53 which is placed on the opposite surface A of the heat emitting body 5 and adheres the base body and the heat emitting body 5. The radiator 5 has a first recess part 51 on the side face 5B and, an outer edge part of the first adhesion member 53 in planar view has a first recessed part 53a corresponding to the first recess part 51 and has a projection part 53B on the site opposite to the first recessed part 53a. |
