A carburizing heat treatment method for a surface of a mold is provided. The present invention includes: a process of primarily cooling a SKD 61 mold material after the primary pre-heating of the SKD 61 mold material and then primarily carburizing and heat-treating the SKD 61 mold material at the temperature range of 970 to 990°C; a process of secondarily cooling the cooled material after the secondary pre-heating of the cooled material and then secondarily heat-treating the cooled material at the temperature range of 970 to 990°C; a process of homogenizing composition at the temperature range of 1000 to 1050°C by heating the cooled material and then quenching the cooled material at the temperature range of 100 to 80°C; and a process of performing sub zero on the quenched material and then tempering the quenched material at the temperature range of 180 to 240°C twice.
