FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in extruders intended for production of compacted fuel from, mainly, the mix of peat with sawdust. Screw extruder comprises bed to support intake hopper and housing with matrix channel, carrier and screw. Carrier has cylindrical insert with splitters arranged radially. Said carrier can feature conical shape with taper angle of 6 degrees.
