PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly absorb displacement and prevent excessive scraping and deformation of projection terminals and flat plate-like terminals by making shapes of openings of the flat plate-like terminals engaged with the projection terminals of a mating connector laterally asymmetrical.SOLUTION: A connector has plural flat plate-like terminals including openings capable of housing projection terminals of a mating connector, and is fitted with the mating connector. The opening includes a wide section, a narrow section, and a transition section shifted from the wide section to the narrow section, and includes a first shape laterally asymmetrical to a center shaft of the flat plate-like terminal in a plane view, or a second shape formed by inverting the first shape relative to the center shaft. The flat plate-like terminals are aligned in a width direction of the connector, and are arranged so that the flat plate-like terminals including the openings having the first shape and the flat plate-like terminals including the openings having the second shape are alternately arranged. |
