PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility of unauthorized use of an information processing apparatus by others.SOLUTION: When a storage unit 150 stores lock release information and a lock processing unit 142 determines that an operation input detected by an operation input detection unit 120 is adapted to an operation input pattern shown by the lock release information, restriction on the execution of a function against a function execution unit 141 is released. Here, the operation input pattern shown by the lock release information includes a time interval among a plurality of operation inputs, and a series of the operation inputs with less action can be set to a lock release operation. As a result, a user can release the lock by an inconspicuous action, and hence, a possibility of causing others to grasp the action of the user at the time when the lock is released can be reduced. Consequently, a possibility of the unauthorized use of an information processing apparatus 1 by others can be reduced. |
