PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information about music by retrieving sound source gene information to the music outputted in real time from a television receiver.SOLUTION: A music retrieval server includes: a database for storing music information and time included in each broadcast program, music information and time used in each advertisement, and an acoustic gene and detailed information to each music; an information request reception unit for receiving an acoustic gene and broadcast information of music that is currently broadcasted from a television receiver; an acoustic gene retrieval unit for identifying the currently broadcasted music on the basis of at least one of the received acoustic gene and broadcast information; a music information collation unit for retrieving the detailed information about the music identified by the acoustic gene retrieval unit in information stored in the database; and a result information transmission unit for transmitting a detailed information retrieval result of the music information collation unit to a television.
