PURPOSE:To uniformly cure a resin and to speed up the formation of resin ribs by providing an air cooler to cool the transfer point of a transfer roller by blowing air to base paper in press contact with the transfer roller. CONSTITUTION:The cooler 6 consisting of a fan 13 to blow the air continuously to the base paper W for transfer in press contact with the transfer roller 2 between a press roller 11 and press roller 12 at the transfer point of the transfer roller 2 to cool the transfer points of the base paper W and the transfer roller 2 with the air is provided in the production of a spacer sheet for corrugated fiberboard, etc. Then, the molten resin is quickly and uniformly cured in parallel with the transfer to form the resin ribs 7 of the same shape as the shape of forming grooves 1 which are fixed to one face of the base paper W. Defective products are thus decreased and the spacer sheet of high quality is produced.
