The wireless power transmitter according to the present invention comprises a power supply unit for supplying driving power of the wireless power transmitter; a power conversion unit for converting the driving power supplied from the power supply unit to an alternating current type; a power transmission unit for wirelessly transmitting the converted driving power to a wireless power receiver; a temperature measurement unit for measuring a temperature value of at least one portion of the wireless power transmitter; and a control unit for detecting a current value of the driving power outputted from the power supply unit and a load value, compensating the load value based on the measured temperature value and detecting the load change of the power transmitter based on the compensated load value.
