PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that reconciles switching loss suppression and noise reduction.SOLUTION: The power conversion device includes: a converter circuit for converting AC power input from a commercial power supply to DC power; an inverter circuit having at least one phase of a series circuit of switching elements to convert the DC power to AC power; and gate drive circuits for supplying currents to gates of the switching elements. The gate drive circuits have gate resistances. At least part of the switching elements are MOSFETs. The gate resistance positioned on the gate of the MOSFET is increased for a set time after the MOSFET is turned off. |
