PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a spent denitration catalyst, in which catalyst poisons can be removed efficiently without discharging liquid waste and the service life of the spent denitration catalyst can be prolonged while dispensing with such activation treatment that a catalytically active component is deposited thereon again.SOLUTION: The method for regenerating the spent denitration catalyst, which contains titanium oxide, vanadium oxide, tungsten oxide and/or molybdenum oxide, and aluminum sulfate, comprises the steps of: supplying moisture to the spent denitration catalyst in a state of a liquid drop, a mist or steam to cover the surface of the spent denitration catalyst with a liquid film; and drying the spent denitration catalyst. |
