PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of achieving improvement in both input characteristics and safety.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery 100 includes a wound electrode body 55 configured by winding a positive electrode 10 and a negative electrode 20 via a separator 30, while a negative electrode mixture layer 22 is formed on a surface of the negative electrode 20, and a negative electrode active material is contained in the negative electrode mixture layer 22. The average particle size Dm of the negative electrode active material is 5 μm or more and 20 μm or less, and a fine powder amount P that is a cumulative frequency of the negative electrode active material having a particle size D of 3 μm or less is 10% or more and 50% or less. |
