PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing vibration of a compressor, which reduces stress applied to piping to suppress a breakage of the piping and generation of noise in a compressor comprising a plurality of compressor bodies irrespective of a rotor rotation number of the compressor body and a vibration phase difference between the compressor bodies, and to provide a compressor.SOLUTION: The compressor 1 comprises: two compressor bodies 2a, 2b; fixing plates 3a, 3b for respectively fixing the compressor bodies 2a, 2b; piping 4 for connecting the compressor bodies 2a, 2b to each other and to other devices; acceleration sensors 5a, 5b mounted on extended axes of rotation shafts 2c, 2d of rotors of the compressor bodies 2a, 2b; and a rotation number control device 6 for controlling the rotation numbers Ra, Rb of the rotors of the compressor bodies 2a, 2b analyzing output signals from the acceleration sensors 5a, 5b. |
