PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing excellent in seizure resistance even if rotation of a main shaft, feeding of a peripheral device and the like are increased in speed for improving processing efficiency and productivity in a variety of machine tools and the like.SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing including an inner race, an outer race and a rolling element, a steel including 0.5-2.5% Cr, by mass, is used for at least one of the inner race and the outer race of the rolling bearing and an oxide-based ceramic is used for the rolling element. The steel further including, by mass, 0.2-1.2% C, 0.1-1.5% Si, 0.1-1.5% Mn, 1.5% or less Mo, 2.0% or less V, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is preferably used for at least one of the inner race and the outer race. |
