PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector forming method that prevent a sealing member from crossing a parting line to obtain desired sealing performance in a connector having a seal member extending in the peripheral direction of a cylindrical side wall of a connector housing.SOLUTION: A connector housing 2 is molded by using a molding tool so that the inner space of a cylindrical side wall 21 is partitioned by a partitioning wall 24, and a step portion 29 is formed at the equipment inside of at a peripheral side of the cylindrical side wall 21 by an annular cut-out portion 28 extending along the peripheral direction of the cylindrical side wall 21 at the equipment inside at the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical side wall 21. The molding is performed under the state that at least one relay terminal 3 which penetrates through the partition wall 24 and projects to the equipment inside 25 and the equipment outside 26 at both the ends thereof respectively, thereby forming a primary molding. A side wall member 4 which is an annular member extending along the peripheral direction of the cut-out portion 28 and is located so that an annular gap 41 for a seal member is interposed between the step portion 29 and the primary molding 11 is molded in the primary molding 11. |
