PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device in which a chain does not disturb the cleaning of a bathtub and the like in a state where a drain plug is detached from a drain outlet and which prevents a cleaner from falling down if his/her leg caught on the chain in a state where the drain plug is attached to the drain outlet.SOLUTION: A drain plug device is configured so that an attachment 3 for holding a second end part 22 of a chain 2 engaging a drain plug 1 with a first end part 21, and a fixture 4 fixed to the inner wall surface of a bathtub with a screw part 43 therebetween, are detachable. The attachment 3 is attached to the fixture 4 by being elastically engaged with a fitting part 42 of the fixture 4 entered an attaching part 31 from its back side. The attachment 3 is detached from the fixture 4 by making external force that resists elastic force work on the attachment 3. |
