PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator generating power by utilizing the movement of an occupant in a vehicular seat.SOLUTION: A power generator 20 provided in a seat cushion S1 of a vehicular seat S includes a magnetic body 21, a spring member 22, and a power generating coil 23. In the power generator 20, the magnetic body 21 rotates in the vicinity of the power generating coil 23 via a transmission member 16 rotating on a hinge 17 as a rotary shaft to interlock with the movements of the thighs of an occupant to thereby generate electricity in the power generating coil 23 by electromagnetic induction. After the electricity generated from the power generating coil 23 is rectified by a rectifier 60 and is stored in a storage battery 25, the electricity is supplied to a load section 90. The power generator 20, the storage battery 25, the rectifier 60, a control section 70 and the load section 90 are provided in the vehicular seat S or on the vehicular seat S. |
