PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a segment is divided into in right and left, the luminous intensity (illuminance, light volume) of a predetermined point of a light distribution pattern becomes short.SOLUTION: A head light for a vehicle includes a semiconductor light source 2 and a reflector 3. A reflection surface 300 of the reflector 30 is composed of a plurality of segments 30-34. The first segment 31 and the second segment 32 are adjacent to each other and divided by a vertical division line 302. The division line 302 crosses a boundary from the first segment 31 side to the second segment 32 side, with respect to a reference division line 301. Consequently, even if the segments 31, 32 are divided in right and left, the head light for a vehicle can sufficiently satisfy the luminous intensity (illuminance, light volume) of a predetermined point of light distribution pattern LP for low beam. |
