PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship configured to enhance stability by lowering the centroid of a hull when damaged in an emergency.SOLUTION: A hull of a ship includes: sidewalls 20a, 20b of right and left ship sides and a ship bottom 10B; a freeboard deck 13; and a double bottom upper deck 11 serving as double bottoms between the freeboard deck 13 and the ship bottom 10B. At least one of a void space 81 and a ballast tank 82 is included in the interior of the hull and between the ship bottom 10B and the double bottom upper deck 11. A seawater guiding pipe 83 includes a seawater inlet 83A disposed in a space between at least an upper part of the double bottom upper deck 11 and a lower part of the freeboard deck 13 while penetrating through the double bottom upper deck 11, and connects the void space 81 or the ballast tank 82 with the space between the upper part of the double bottom upper deck 11 and the lower part of the freeboard deck 13. Also, an on-off valve 84 is included for opening and closing the seawater inlet 83A of the seawater guiding pipe 83. |
